Dryers and heat exchangers share one common feature: both can be used to heat materials. So, can a dryer be used as a heat exchanger?

I agree with you, but the issue isn’t its purpose or what it’s used for :) What if a dryer and a heat exchanger are considered as the same type of heat exchange device? Or rather, what if it’s first regarded as a heat exchanger and then as a dryer? (Just a discussion)
