Is it okay to directly use a tee and weld a plug for a liquefied gas pipeline?

This is a liquefied gas pipeline; is it possible to simply drill a hole in the straight pipe and attach a fitting? Can a pipe plug be made without using a flanged blind plate, by simply welding it in place?

As long as the calculated intensity is sufficient, that’s fine. Is the directly welded plug a steel plate? Then the strength needs to be calculated separately, right? It’s different from pipe caps; it should be calculated using the method applicable to the wall thickness of blind plates. The welding of branch pipes also needs to be calculated to determine whether reinforcement is required.
From the perspective of actual project management on site, opening a saddle joint in liquefied gas pipelines is generally not allowed.
The requirements are now higher; the saddle joint needs to be replaced with a tee, and pipe caps should also be used for the end closures.
Logically, for materials that are flammable and explosive, the use of piping is required; even if you use holes to connect them, it’s likely that no non-destructive testing was carried out, which poses a safety risk
I think it should be possible as well; the main concern is safety, so we need to see if it can be used
