What’s the difference between EL and triangular elevation?
Similarly, pipes prefer to use EL to indicate the elevation of the pipe’s center. Triangular markers are mostly used in the civil engineering field.

Under my influence: EL is generally used for piping purposes, referring to a relative elevation, that is, with respect to the floor level. EL+ when higher than the floor level, EL- when lower than the floor level. Add Top for the top elevation and Bop for the bottom elevation. The elevation symbol for triangles is commonly used in civil engineering, and it usually represents absolute elevation.
