What is the difference between the reducer tees 25*25*15 and 25*15*25?
Difference? First, determine the size order of each port; generally it is inlet – outlet – branch port. If this principle applies, then: 25*25*15, which is a standard reduced-diameter tee, with the inlet and outlet (on the same line) being DN25 and the branch port being DN15 ; 25*15*25: a special reducer tee, with the inlet being DN25, the outlet (on the same line as the inlet) being DN15, and the branch port also being DN25; it functions like a tee with equal diameters, and the outlet is equipped with a reducing fitting.
I checked the installation diagram again; both representation methods are the same – it’s the branch pipe that changes
That means the notation is not standardized; at least within one project, and especially on the same drawing, the representation method should be consistent.
The original poster is really interesting. Look at those who specialize in piping – there are so many reducers there; who would bother worrying about such a thing? It’s not even considered a problem. Just ask someone who specializes in piping, and you’ll know.
One is a side tee, and the other is a medium-small tee
I thought that things written differently should be different items, but when I checked the installation diagrams, I found they were actually the same thing – it’s quite frustrating
