Problems with pipeline connections between equipment rooms

As the title suggests: Some projects these days involve temporary installations, and the equipment is not used for long periods of time. Using rigid pipes for connections would result in a too long construction period, while using flexible pipes has not been tried before. Therefore, a question arises: Can flexible pipes be used instead of rigid pipes for connecting pipes between devices or between different components (assuming that the flexible pipes meet the required working conditions)? If they cannot be used, are there any regulations that specify why not? Or what are the factors that prevent their use? I welcome insights and discussions from everyone.

Hoses can be used without any problem; high-quality hoses can last up to 20 years. The only thing to note is to check the specifications, as some oil depots do not allow the use of flammable non-metallic hoses
Many testing devices and temporary mobile equipment consist of hoses; metal hoses are used frequently, while others include flexible composite hoses, rubber hoses, etc
