Can a cut-off ball valve be installed vertically?

As the title suggests, it’s a pneumatic cut-off ball valve. Is this yellow screw used for drainage? What are the organizations corresponding to blue, black, and green?

Yellow denotes silencers, blue denotes single-acting pneumatic actuators (used to drive valves), green denotes ASCO flameproof solenoid valves, and black denotes limit switches. The valve can be installed vertically; however, in the installation method shown in the picture above, the pressure reducing filter valve should also be installed vertically to facilitate drainage, otherwise water will flow back.
The people upstairs are professional; they’ve studied it. But isn’t the yellow one at the very top the valve opening indicator? The black one below is the signal box and limit switch; the blue one is the pneumatic actuator, though I can’t tell whether it’s single-acting or double-acting. Green is the American ASCO flameproof series.
It’s that transparent component with a screw at the bottom, right? Is that yellow screw the silencer? Reliant on four small holes beside it for noise reduction? Should I still remove the screws?

It is clearly a single-acting type; a gas pipe is connected to it, and it operates in an open mode for air supply, with the other side serving as the exhaust port； The yellow one is the silencer; the four small holes next to the silencer are the mounting holes for the plug-in solenoid valve, and they are not used for auxiliary noise reduction ； The black ones are the explosion-proof limit switches of the APL-510N series; everyone is correct regarding the solenoid valves ； The stainless steel pipes are connected; the air supply passes through a filter and pressure regulator first, then reaches the solenoid valve, and finally enters the cylinder! The filter pressure regulating valve should be installed vertically; if drainage is not carried out promptly in such an installation, water vapor from the air source can enter the solenoid valve and then the cylinder, which affects its service life and performance. It is essential to make the necessary corrections!
