What are the specifications for pipeline materials? 20# seamless steel pipe GB/T8163-2008(II), used for steam main pipes ； Q235B welded steel pipe GB/T13793-2016(II) for circulating water main pipes ； What standards are used for Hastelloy seamless steel pipes and Q235B seamless steel pipes?
A few questions: 1. For GB/T8163-2018 and GB/T13793-2016, there is no II series; it should be the HG/T 20553-II series, which refers to metric pipes. 2. For 20# seamless steel pipes as used in steam main lines, it’s necessary to check whether the temperature and pressure conditions are suitable. 3. Regarding Hastelloy seamless pipes, it depends on whether you are using type HB, HC, or HG. 4. If seamless pipes are to be used, 20# is sufficient; if necessary, have the manufacturer produce them in accordance with the GB/T8163-2018 standard. Was the original pipe material grade lost?
