Reasons for slow drainage of the floating drum decanter

The drainage time of the float-type decanter has increased from 1 hour to 4 hours now; the phenomenon is that one end of the float sinks slowly before rising again. I would appreciate it if experienced colleagues could help analyze the cause and suggest solutions.
It shouldn’t be a design issue; it used to be possible to complete the process in one hour, and it’s only recently that the drainage speed has slowed down
Is there a problem with the balance? Are there any issues with the supporting components or rotating parts?
