We have two centrifugal pumps operating in parallel; each pump has a rated flow rate of 100 cubic meters per hour, a pressure of 0.6 MPa, and an outlet pipe diameter of 200. Will a inlet pipe diameter of 250 be sufficient to meet the requirements? I would like to ask the experts here!
With two units of 200 cubic capacity, using pipes with an inlet diameter of 250, and a flow rate of 1.1 meters per second, it’s still feasible.
It depends on what your medium is, whether it vaporizes easily, what the system’s cavitation margin and the pump’s cavitation margin are; in terms of flow velocity, it’s not very high
