What does the term \"lining flange cover plug welding hole\" mean? What does BL(S)450-16RF mean: diameter of the center circle of the spot weld hole is 250, hole diameter is 15, and the quantity is 4? ?
A plug welding hole is a method used between two objects that require plug welding to facilitate the welding process. Specifically, when two parts are stacked, a hole is made in one of them; the two parts are then welded together inside that hole, which is subsequently filled. The holes made here are plug welding holes. 1. The minimum center distance between plug welds should be 4 times the diameter of the hole ; 2. The minimum diameter of the plug weld hole shall not be less than the thickness of the perforated plate plus 8 mm, while the maximum diameter shall be either the minimum diameter plus 3 mm, or 2.25 times the thickness of the perforated component; the larger of these two values shall be adopted
Can the lined flange cover be manufactured as a composite plate?
For the lining panel, drill holes with a diameter of 15; the diameter of the central circle should be 250, and then weld things into those holes. It’s the lining that is welded to the substrate. The welding material is the same as or similar to the lining material.
It should be, but welding on top would be better
Isn’t welding a 16-kilogram blind plate a form of composite plate as well?:l
There is a problem: the material specified is TA2+Q345R, and plug welding is not feasible in this case.
That’s how I understand it too. Plug welding titanium and steel is also not practical. We are considering making it into a composite plate; the issue is that we have no experience with this type of flange cover, so we’re asking whether it’s possible to just make it a composite plate and machine it directly.
