Do you have experience in using nitrogen at a pressure of 1.5MPa–1.6MPa to purge chemicals in pipelines?
The so-called purpose of purging pipes is twofold. First, impurities inside the pipe are removed by using high-speed airflow combined with vibrating pipes ； Second, on this basis, the pipeline is purged with nitrogen to meet production requirements. Using nitrogen for purging seems wasteful; it’s better to first use compressed air for purging and then replace it with nitrogen for drying. Purging requires a large flow rate and high velocity; pressure requirements are not high. If explosive purging is used to introduce this pressure directly into the pipeline, a pressure gauge should be installed in the pipeline for monitoring, in order to prevent overpressure from occurring and to serve as a reference.

Oh, I didn’t understand. It should be called “replacement”; as long as there is no overpressure, it can be directly inserted into the pipe for replacement.
Based on the lower explosion limit of the medium, a oxygen content of 0.5% is generally considered acceptable. A strict oxygen content of 0.2% is required.
