Hello everyone, does a Spring Return valve refer to a check valve? What does it still refer to? I appreciate your advice

Isn’t a check valve a non-return valve?
So, does this type of valve require an external reset mechanism, or can it be achieved through the valve’s internal structure? Thank you!

This spring-return valve is suitable for valves operated with a 1/4 turn handle, such as ball valves and plug valves. The stop valve is operated via a handwheel, which is not very suitable; I’ve never seen such a product before
It generally refers to the characteristics of the cylinder (actuator). Control valve (with cylinder), featuring spring return functionality, which ensures it remains in a safe Fail Safe position when the air supply is lost.
