Due to pandemic control measures and market factors, the production facility may not be put into operation for half a year or longer. Some safety valves have reached their expiration date, and it is planned to calibrate them before deciding to start operations. Are there any procedures that need to be followed at the local quality inspection agency in order to comply with relevant laws and regulations? Or register a case with the safety supervision bureau or something? Could anyone with experience in this method give some advice?
We obtained an RBI; you can look it up on Baidu. Our safety valves no longer need to be inspected once a year; for some of them, the inspection interval can be extended to every 3 or 4 years.
RBI technology is based on risk analysis; by conducting qualitative or quantitative analyses and assessments of the inherent or potential hazards and their consequences within pressure equipment systems, it identifies key problems and weak points, determines the risk level of the equipment, and optimizes inspection frequencies and procedures from the perspective of balancing safety and cost efficiency. This approach enables the development of scientific and reasonable inspection strategies, thereby making inspection and management activities more economical, safe, and effective. After a safety management assessment of the users of pressure vessels and pressure pipelines within large-scale plant systems is conducted by the superior authority of the using unit or a third-party organization, and if those users meet the requirements specified in 7.8.1 of TSG R0004-2009 \"Regulations on Safety Supervision of Fixed Pressure Vessels\" (hereinafter referred to as the \"regulation requirements\"), the using unit may independently entrust a special equipment inspection agency approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine to carry out a risk-based inspection (RBI) (hereinafter referred to as RBI inspection). I’ve learned it, thank you!
It should be that verification is carried out first within the valid period; the verification report is important
