To ensure a smooth installation, preparatory work before installation is very important. So what are the preparatory tasks for installing a pneumatic ball valve? Let’s go and find out from the manufacturer. Maximum reliability (safety) of the pneumatic shut-off valve: The valve body is a monolithic structure that is robust and durable; its operation is not affected by pipeline pressure, and leakage of the valve body can be prevented. Maximum flow capacity of electric cut-off ball valve: Due to its streamlined design and full 90-degree rotation control, the maximum volume capacity is particularly high, resulting in excellent flow capacity and low flow resistance; therefore, it is possible to use a smaller valve size that is more economical. Electric explosion-proof gate valves possess excellent control characteristics: V-ball valves feature approximately equal percentage flow characteristics and a tunable ratio of up to 300:1. Therefore, V-ball valves can provide precise control over a wide range of variations. 1. Check the nameplate of the pneumatic ball valve; operate the valve several times through full open and full closed positions to ensure it functions properly, then inspect all details of the valve to confirm it is in good condition. 2. Ensure that the pipes at the installation location of the pneumatic ball valve are coaxial, with the two flanges on the pipes remaining parallel. Verify that the pipes can support the weight of the valve itself; if they cannot, appropriate supports should be installed before mounting the valve. 3. Remove the protective covers at both ends of the valve and check whether the interior of the valve body is clean. Clean the interior of the valve body, as the sealing surface of a pneumatic ball valve is spherical, and even small debris can damage this sealing surface. 4. Confirm that there are no impurities or weld slag in the pipes; the pipes must be thoroughly cleaned. Therefore, before installing the pneumatic ball valve, these preparatory tasks must be carried out to ensure the smooth progress of subsequent installation and maintenance work.
