During winter production, water traps in these devices often end up in a bypass mode. I would like to ask everyone: what are the reasons for this bypass behavior of the water traps, and how can it be repaired?
Direct connection; if it’s about water transfer, it means the strainer size is too small. If it is a straight-through gas, it needs to be disassembled for inspection and maintenance. This device has a simple structure and can be disassembled easily; it’s possible that the internal components are stuck, for reference only.
Can the water delivery conduit be disassembled for maintenance?

A thermodynamic steam trap is a type of steam trap that operates by taking advantage of the hydrodynamic and thermodynamic properties resulting from the difference in flow rates between steam and condensed water. The most representative example is the Hangzhou Watt DC disc-type steam trap, which contains a disc-shaped valve element. The space above this element is known as the pressure variation chamber, while the area below it is where the fluid pressure is applied. During the discharge of condensed water, some of the condensed water and flash steam fill the pressure variation chamber; the pressure generated by this fills acts on the top of the discs, and this pressure is greater than the steam pressure acting on the lower part of the discs, thereby keeping them closed. As the vapor from flashing in the transformer chamber dissipates heat, the pressure gradually decreases; the pressure acting on the lower part of the disc being higher than that on the upper part causes it to open again. Such repeated cycles ensure the opening and closing of the disc-type steam trap. When the temperature is too low or the transformer room gets wet, steam in the control chamber of the transformer room condenses and no pressure can build up, which in turn prevents the check valve from closing for an extended period of time.
Yes, it’s possible to do that by turning on the direct discharge via the bypass
