What is the purpose of the area enclosed in red in the first picture? Why are a pair of valves installed in the second diagram, and what is the structure inside?
The first one I guess is a locking mechanism; I’ve never seen the second one
The first one is the locking device； I have never used a manual split valve.
It is well known that the first one is a locking device, as it is common. The second one isn’t used often, so I’m not familiar with it. Then, what pipeline is the second one used for?
Used in ultra-high pressure drum water pipelines
