What is the operating temperature range for welded elbows made of Q245R material? What is the operating temperature range for L245 grooved pipes? What materials are generally used for pipelines and fittings for low and medium pressure steam at the site (0.6 MPa–198°C)? Can slotted pipes be used in this steam operating condition?
What is the material standard? Check the chapter on materials in TSG11-2020 and GB16507 ； Low and medium pressure steam systems generally use A106-B material; welded carbon steel pipes are usually used only for diameters of DN500 or larger, as steam does not require such large pipe diameters ； Seamless pipes made of 304 material are in use for small diameters ； GB20801-2020 includes a comparison table of domestic and international material standards
This pipeline is not used by power units; it is a main low- and medium-pressure steam pipeline in the process unit’s pipeline tray
For low-pressure steam, we use Q235BSh/Y503 pipes; for sizes smaller than DN200, we use GB8163 standard No. 20 pipes, while fittings are generally made from GB12459 standard No. 20 material
According to GB20801, either Q215-A or Q235-A from GB3091 can be used.
