Hello everyone: Since the fluid is a liquid, the 2-inch on/off valve has been adjusted from a vertical installation to a horizontal position on the vertical pipeline. Are there any adverse effects of this?
First, it is necessary to consult the valve manufacturer to see if such an installation method is feasible； In the vertical orientation of the second valve body, with the valve stem being horizontal, it is necessary to consider whether impurities in the medium might settle within the valve due to gravity, thereby causing poor sealing or leakage. Third is whether the daily operation and maintenance of the valve are convenient.
