I would like to ask what material should be used for valves related to dimethylvinyl chloride, dimethylacetamide, and m-phenylenediamine

Which ones should use 317L? We want to use conventional 316L, but we’re not sure if that will work; or perhaps we could use fluorocarbon-coated material, or Hastelloy. I searched online but I’m not aware of these properties; what material would be suitable? Everyone could share their experience briefly, or any relevant information would be helpful. Thank you

Personally, I would recommend using 316L. Fluorinated-lined valves may come unseated due to thermal expansion and contraction if their quality is poor; Hastelloy, on the other hand, is too expensive

I did some research – by checking Baidu – and found that dimethylacetamide can be stored in iron tanks, while phenylenediamine can be stored in tanks lined with plastic. Neither of these substances is known to be acidic or alkaline, so theoretically, tanks of such high quality aren’t necessary.

I guess these organic media shouldn’t be that corrosive, right?
