Can a metal hose be installed vertically?

May I ask if the storage tank’s feed pipeline can be installed vertically? My main concern is that the foundation might sink after the tank is fed; should it rather be installed horizontally? Thank you
I thought it was the installer’s posture? I’m puzzled – isn’t installation done upright on site? So far, no factory has been able to carry out installation work while lying down.
Metal hoses can certainly be installed vertically. If you’re concerned about settlement, are you worried that the equipment might settle and lose contact with the hose? If this is the concern, consider providing some allowance for the flexible metal hose, or fixing the entire hose to the storage tank so that they settle together; the length of the rigid pipe along with its elbow design can then be used to absorb the displacement caused by the expansion of the equipment.
