It will travel over 3,300 kilometers and is expected to arrive at the pumped storage project site in Lushan, Henan, in a little over 20 days. This heavy equipment will pass through Chengdu and Meishan in sequence, before the loading process onto the ship is carried out at the Leshan Heavy Machinery Terminal ； It then proceeds along the Min River to reach the main Yangtze River channel, passing through Chongqing and crossing the Three Gorges Dam; unloading and transfer take place in Wuhan, after which it is transported by land directly to the project site. The Henan Lushan Pumped Storage Project is located in Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, and is a key energy infrastructure project in the province. The total installed capacity of the project is 1,300 megawatts, with a designed annual power generation output of 2.008 billion kWh. It is equipped with 4 pump-storage units, each with a capacity of 325 megawatts. All the units and associated equipment were developed and supplied by Dongfang Electric. Once operational, this power plant will primarily undertake key tasks such as peak shaving, valley filling, frequency regulation, phase regulation, and providing backup during emergency situations for the Henan power grid. It will enable the savings of 405,000 tons of standard coal per year, as well as a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 1.025 million tons ； At the same time, the project will integrate with the surrounding tourism resources to develop a comprehensive energy project that combines energy production with ecological tourism.
