Dear experts in the chlor-alkali industry, what kind of adhesive is generally used to bond an ion exchange membrane to gaskets? ? Should the area of the diaphragm be larger than that of the anode and cathode? ? What is the approximate proportion? ?
Generally speaking, no adhesives should be used between the ion membrane and the gasket; the ion membrane is simply placed between the two unit cells and pressed into place.
