Our company has six Taibei Petrochemical membrane-gap electrolyzers; in four of these electrolyzers, the chlorine-hydrogen pressure difference is less than 3 KPa, while in the two additional electrolyzers it is less than 4 KPa. The chlorine-hydrogen pressure difference in the main pipeline is normal. There are fluctuations in the chlorine-hydrogen pressure difference for each electrolyzer – it increases by 0.5 KPa every 6 hours for a certain period, and then again by 0.5 KPa after another hour. I would like to ask the experts what the reason is?
Due to bends, reversals, necking, diameter changes, etc., in chlorine or hydrogen pipelines, localized periodic water accumulation can occur, leading to such phenomena

1. Lower the liquid levels of both 260 and 280 to 10% and observe what happens; 2. Does this phenomenon occur during low-load operation? It is also possible that the hydrochloric acid or alkali pipeline coming from the electrolyzer has been connected to the main pipe, preventing the gas in the main pipe from returning to the gas phase; as a result, once enough gas accumulates, fluctuations occur. In this case, during parking, a connecting pipe can be added to the catholyte main pipe and the hydrogen main pipe; the same applies to the anolyte pipe as well!
