I would like to ask the experts: how much impact does an excessive level of SS in the brine have on the resin tower?
In simple terms, this could lead to the secondary brine failing to meet standards, thereby affecting the ion exchange membrane
The pressure in the resin tower increases; once it enters the electrolytic cell, it deposits on the membrane, affecting its performance
Excessively high SS can affect the adsorption capacity of chelating resins. The aluminum content in our company’s secondary brine is often between 100-300 PPb, and this might be related to it. Due to the failure of the online SS analysis instrument, we don’t conduct analyses very frequently.
