For the flame arrestors on the inlet pipes (chlorine and hydrogen) of the hydrogen chloride synthesis furnace, should explosion-proof or detonation-type ones be used, and should mesh filtration or tank-type designs be chosen? I would appreciate some discussion on this
The flame arresters used on hydrogen pipelines are designed to prevent detonation, and corrugated plates are now commonly used as the flame arrestment elements. See sections 6.2.2 and 6.2.10 of the SH3413 stripe explanation for details
