Production of sulfuric acid from acidic gases

We are planning to install a plant for producing sulfuric acid from acidic gas. I would like to ask fellow experts which process – dry or wet – is more mature, and which design firm is more experienced in handling such projects
The wet process for producing sulfuric acid is better; it involves Danish Topsoe’s patented technology, and the design developed by CNPC’s East China Research Institute is also excellent.
