If it’s possible to conduct online detection of the esterification rate, do you think it would be useful as a guide for production?
It’s meaningless. The esterification rate is related to several production parameters such as vacuum level and viscosity; it is sufficient to monitor these parameters during production. Laboratory test data is a post-hoc method for analyzing quality and correcting processes.
