On March 10, the green transformation project for caprolactam at China Pingmei Shenma Group Nylon Technology Co., Ltd. reached full production capacity, with a daily output of up to 1,200 tons of caprolactam. The project was completed with its renovation on July 26, 2025; the system was operating stably by the end of November, and it began to operate at full capacity on March 9, 2026. As a key energy-saving project, the consumption of medium and low-pressure steam decreased by 50% after the renovation; the annual savings resulting from this alone amount to approximately 80 million yuan. At the same time, the consumption of utilities such as circulating water and electricity was significantly reduced. The project simultaneously completed the optimization of the production facilities and the reassignment of staff; the first-phase oxime synthesis unit was shut down successfully, 40 employees were reassigned appropriately, and the area formerly occupied by that unit will be used for the “40 to 60” project, thereby enabling efficient use of resources.
