What is the dew point temperature of FCC flue gas? Thank you!
Theoretically it’s 180; in practice it’s a bit higher
There are calculation companies that can give a rough estimate!
This post was last edited by 103388716 on 2017-3-27 00:41. I seem to remember that the simplest practical calculation formula is: exhaust temperature + outdoor temperature/2. I’m not sure if this is correct; please let me know if I’m wrong! ! !
We keep the flue temperature here at no less than 220!
It is related to the sulfur dioxide content in the flue gas; different units have varying values, and specific figures can be obtained by consulting the waste heat boiler manufacturer
220 for exhaust ventilation? Isn’t all that heat being wasted?

There are formulas available to calculate the humidity of smoke gases as well as the concentrations of acidic gases such as sulfur dioxide, NOX, and carbon dioxide. Below is the formula for calculating the dew point of sulfur dioxide: tdew=186+20logVH2O+26logVso2. Here, tdew represents the acid dew point temperature of the flue gas; VH2O is the percentage of water vapor in the flue gas (%); Vso2 is the percentage of SO2 gas in the flue gas (%). In fact, there is no need to perform these calculations manually, as the flue gas detectors currently in use (some of which are also called thermal efficiency meters, and are used by environmental monitoring agencies as well) can carry out these calculations automatically and provide the dew point value directly. However, the calculated dew point is inaccurate; there are instruments available that can measure the dew point directly – dew point meters. In the petrochemical industry, the exhaust gas temperature abroad must be 30°C above the dew point, while in China, it is only required to be 10°C above the dew point.

Many articles were published in the past on flue gas desulfurization in power plants; there are calculation companies both in China and abroad, but the calculations are rather complicated, and it’s not yet clear whether they are accurate. The upstairs section (10#) provides relatively simple calculation formulas – great job~~~. . . . . . There is one issue to discuss: should it be the flue gas dew point or the sulfur dioxide dew point?
