Catalyst activity of the catalytic device

What is the typical catalyst activity level for everyone’s devices (in terms of microreactor activity)? What are the consequences of low activity?
Ours is basically around 65 to 68.
Catalysts with low activity are severely deactivated, heavy metal levels are excessive, liquid yield decreases, while dry gas and coke production increase.
Our control target is to keep it at or below 63; usually it’s around 61-62. If it’s too low, the level of olefins rises rapidly, and the reaction temperature has to be increased in order to proceed with the process. The product’s tendency to thermal crack increases. There is more dry gas.
The activity of heavy oil catalytic cracking catalysts is generally maintained at a relatively high level of 65–70; low activity of the feed oil makes it difficult to carry out cracking, and a low specific surface area leads to an increased catalyst-to-oil ratio. For wax oil catalysis, the required activity level is slightly lower, at 60–65. In the case of wax oil catalysis, the feed oil typically has a low carbon residue content and low levels of heavy metals, resulting in relatively higher catalyst activity and consequently higher dry gas production.
