Is it true that the higher the concentration of the desulfurizing agent, the better, or is there an optimal maximum value? It used to be in the low twenties here, and now it’s forty; is the concentration controlled based on the quality of the product?
The most suitable concentration for the desulfurizer is between 25% and 35%
There are design reasons for the concentration level (a higher concentration allows for smaller equipment), operational reasons (excessive load leads to a higher concentration), and energy consumption considerations (a lower concentration results in higher energy use). Therefore, the decision should be based on the actual production conditions.
But it’s not the case that the larger it is, the better; it is adjusted based on the volume of dry gas or liquefied gas, as well as the amount of hydrogen sulfide contained in them.
