Is there catalyzed heavy diesel available? What is its function? Thank you.
Five to six tons is a reasonable amount, as it helps to increase the reaction temperature for hydrogenation
Heavy diesel can be extracted, with some undergoing catalytic reprocessing.
Heavy diesel components are generally bicyclic in structure; after being extracted, they can be fed into a specific hydrogenation reactor to saturate one of the rings, and then sent back to catalytic cracking as raw material. The goal is to reduce the yield of diesel – the less diesel there is, the better
How about using residue hydrogenation diluent oil? Does residue hydrogenation have an open-loop function? Simply acting as a diluent, it should be feasible to break down some heavy oil during desulfurization and denitrification, right?
