Crude oil and residue with high sulfur content certainly also contain a lot of oil
Crude oil contains sulfur, which generally exists in the form of inorganic sulfides such as hydrogen sulfide, and organic sulfur compounds such as thiolates and sulfides. The higher the sulfur content in crude oil, the greater the sulfur content in the residue obtained during processing. Among all the oil fractions, residue has the highest sulfur content.

Sulfur in crude oil exists primarily as large molecular hydrocarbons; during atmospheric and vacuum distillation, it is mainly found in waxes and residue. Approximately 30% of the sulfur in crude oil ends up in the waxes, while about 50% goes into the residue.
