The distillation tower cannot be filled with water; it is necessary to open the first manhole at the top of the tower, fill it with water up to that level, and then carry out a water test. Blind plates must be installed at both the compressor inlet and the inlet of the oil and gas pipeline to the distillation tower. Blind plates must be installed to isolate each nozzle in the reaction system.

Measure the height of the tower before and after filling it with water to see how much the foundation has settled.
