Is the modified diesel 50 points too high, or 90 points too low? What’s the reason? How should it be solved?
The quality of diesel is generally controlled by the initial boiling point and the dry point; the 50-degree value represents only a corresponding change. A lower dry point can be addressed by increasing the temperature at the top of the tower.
Can it be adjusted by raising the top pressure of the fractionation tower to do something low-level? At the bottom of the tower is diesel; then doesn’t that corresponding 50-point value increase?
Is this so-called diesel conversion process actually a gasoline-diesel hydrogenation process?
Yes, so there are no national standards for the initial distillation point of diesel; I’m not sure what level you guys control it at? Does controlling the height have any impact?
