The recent graded thesis I wrote deals with the control of nitrogen oxides in catalytically regenerated flue gas, and it mentions that basic nitrides in the feedstock are adsorbed onto the acidic sites of the catalyst. But I’m not very familiar with some aspects of catalysts. I’ve seen before that catalysts have structures such as a matrix and active centers, but I’m not entirely clear about the relationships and functions of these various structural elements. I’m worried that questions might be asked on this topic during the defense, so I would appreciate it if experts could explain to me the relevant knowledge about catalytic cracking catalysts.
