Due to the newly used crude oil, the temperature at the bottom of the catalytic fractionation tower rose to around 375 degrees and could not be reduced. The density of the slurry increased from around 1032 to 1128, while the solid content rose from 4.4 to 16.8. Is there any alternative solution?
What is the activity of the catalyst? Is there any heavy metal poisoning? Has the alkaline nitrogen content of the raw materials been measured? The four components of the raw materials should also be analyzed. If the high oil content results in poor cracking efficiency, causing the centrifugal separation limit to be too low and leading to agent loss, the amount of fresh agent added can be increased, along with the amount of dry gas fed for pre-heating and the steam injected into the reactor; at the same time, the oil content should be adjusted. A bottom temperature of the fractionation tower above 370°C is very dangerous; over time, a large amount of soft coke will form in the slurry system
1. Reduce the diesel extraction temperature and force the diesel components into the slurry. 2. Decrease the degree of reaction. 3. Reduce the processing capacity of the plant. 4. It is possible to send the crude oil back to the bottom of the distillation column in case of an emergency. The slurry has high viscosity, and if not handled properly, it can be very dangerous, leading to blockages in the entire slurry system and shutdown of the plant
