When should fuel oil be injected during catalytic shutdown, and when can the supply of fuel oil be stopped?
If the desizing is fast, it may not be necessary to spray combustion oil; our equipment basically does not spray combustion oil these days
From what I understand, spraying is done after cutting, and it stops when the bed temperature drops below 400 degrees. I’m not sure if this is correct
If work has to stop, why spray fuel oil then? Isn’t that a waste? After cutting, there are two cycles; once the coking is complete, the catalyst can be removed!

No way, there’s no need to spray it. After the fluidized coking of the two reactors is complete, the catalyst can be removed.
Fuel oil is mainly injected based on the temperature of the bed layer; it needs to be injected when the temperature is low, but injection should cease once the temperature drops below around 380 degrees, as this can lead to sludging. However, there is no need to inject combustion oil when shutting down the system.
Once the burning is complete, the agent can be removed; there’s no need to spray it.
When stopping and reducing the feed rate, the combustion oil sprayed should be used to prevent too rapid a drop in temperature, with the decrease not exceeding 30 degrees; this is mainly for the protection of the equipment. And ensuring a high temperature in the regenerator before stopping feed is to ensure complete regeneration
