Extraction of germanium from neutralization slag

Our facility’s neutralization slag contains 0.6–0.7% germanium, and we now intend to use alkaline leaching followed by ion adsorption. I wonder if any of the experts have any better process solutions.
The composition of the neutralization slag is unknown; if it contains other valuable elements, comprehensive recovery should be considered. If it contains only germanium, leaching-extraction processes can be employed. The specific process to be chosen depends on one’s actual circumstances, such as the existing equipment and investment requirements.
