High-rise formwork supports refer to those with a height of over four meters; around such supports, four rows of vertical longitudinal bracing members are installed, with horizontal supports placed every two of these bracing members. Furthermore, if the supporting concrete members are used to support spans of eight meters or more than ten meters, they can withstand a load of 15 KN/m2 during construction, as well as concentrated loads exceeding 20 KN/m2; either of these conditions constitutes high-formwork construction. Generally, the construction technology of high-support formwork involves a high level of difficulty and significant risks. Although this technology is widely used in construction projects, with relatively standardized construction requirements and procedures, many problems still exist during implementation. Especially as people’s demands for the aesthetic appeal and uniqueness of buildings increase, the standards for construction work also rise. It is therefore necessary to carry out concrete formwork construction in strict accordance with the requirements associated with high-support formwork, based on the actual conditions of each project.
