For the existing project, there is limited space; therefore, it is being considered whether the control room and the power distribution room can be arranged on different floors. However, the \"Design Code for Control Rooms\" HG/T 20508-2014 stipulates that the central control room should not be located adjacent to the power distribution station. Does arranging them on different floors count as being adjacent? Can shielding measures be used?

To be honest, there are plenty of situations where I handle trivial tasks – they’re all internal company projects. There’s no need for anything complicated; it’s not major projects, so both low-voltage and high-voltage systems are handled together through the same power distribution and control systems. Another advantage is that it’s convenient to run the power distribution and control cables into the control room. I’m talking about practicality here – you can do this without anyone checking it. I’ve done no fewer than five such trivial tasks, in which the transformers and control cabinets were placed separately
If explosion protection is not required in the control room, the power distribution room can be located on the top floor of the control room, with a cable tray in between; I think this arrangement is quite reasonable

For example, is 12 meters considered adjacent, and is 20 meters considered adjacent as well? There is no explanatory provision in this standard, which is quite confusing; if it were “adjacent,” it would be easy to understand – one just needs to be outside the magnetic field range of the transformer. So as a standard term, it must be accurate; if it refers to “adjacent,” a distance requirement should definitely be specified.
