The production unit has a lighting box; the lights do not turn on when connected to the live wire and neutral wire, but they do turn on when connected to the live wire and ground wire. What is the reason for this? Is the neutral wire broken?
It indicates that the live wire is fine. If the ground wire lights up, it means that the live wire and the ground wire form a circuit – is there no ground protection then? If the live and neutral wires do not light up, it indicates a problem with the neutral wire.
Maybe what you call the ground wire is the neutral wire? It’s possible that the electrician who did the work earlier made a mistake
It should be thoroughly checked; a broken neutral wire can be quite dangerous
