This is a system diagram of ours. The main power meter we use is located at the power plant; the busbar connection is not closed, and the equipment in Section I and Section II is operational. We have newly installed power generation equipment in Section II, which is now connected to the grid and operating properly. May I ask, does the power plant need to charge us according to our electricity consumption? When we add power generation equipment, does the electricity generated by it directly lead to a reduction in the amount of electricity supplied by the power plant, or is it sent back into the grid first? In other words, our electricity consumption equals the reading on the power plant’s meter, but that reading will be lower than before? Is our electricity consumption still equal to the reading on the power plant’s meter minus the reading on the meter of our own power generation equipment?
(1) After the power generation equipment was added in Section II, the electricity generated by it directly leads to a reduction in the amount of electricity supplied by the power plant; the electricity produced by the newly installed equipment is used on-site and is not sent back to the power plant for use. (2) Electricity consumption = Reading on the power plant meter
There’s another question: is there a second scenario? Currently, all the load is on Section 1; there is no load in Section 2. In this case, must the electricity generated by Section 2 be fed back? There is no direct connection between Section 1 and Section 2.
In other words, is the electricity generated in section 2 used directly by section 2, or does it go to section 1?
Currently, all the load is on Section 1; there is no load in Section 2. Since Section 1 and Section 2 are not connected by a busbar, the electricity generated in Section 2 must be fed back to that section of the power plant, and it has nothing to do with Section 1 at all. Section I corresponds to the power generation section, and its value is negative at the power plant; Section II is the power consumption section, with a positive value at the power plant. The difference between the positive value of Section II and the negative value of Section I gives the total power consumption for both sections combined.
Are 2 sections the power generation sections, and 1 section is the power consumption section? This sentence troubles me a lot
It can be understood in this way: the electricity consumption of your factory is equal to the electricity used minus the electricity generated.
