Quality of tap water: High levels of impurities in tap water can shorten the lifespan of the pre-treatment components and result in water that does not meet quality standards; it can also cause blockages in the pipes, requiring higher water pressure to function properly. Generally, it is required that the content of dissolved solids (TDS) in tap water be less than 200 mg/L. 2. Service life of pre-treatment components: Precision filters, activated carbon filters, reverse osmosis membranes, and similar components are all materials with a certain service life. The precision filters and activated carbon filters in particular serve to protect the reverse osmosis membrane; if they fail, the load on the RO membrane increases, thereby reducing its lifespan. Due to the varying quality of products from different manufacturers and the high cost of RO membranes, it is necessary to select them appropriately based on the quality of local tap water in practical applications. 3. Inlet water pressure: Generally, high-pressure pumps are required in the pretreatment stage of pure water systems to maintain a certain inlet water pressure (≥0.1 Mpa) in order for the system to function properly; insufficient pressure from the high-pressure pump will result in a decrease in water production. 4. Maintenance of polysilicon ultra-pure water equipment: Ultra-pure water equipment generally comes equipped with an automatic backwash function. However, improper settings, malfunctions, or inadequate manual maintenance can also affect the proper operation of such equipment, resulting in a decrease in purification efficiency and water quality.
