Recently, the environmental impact assessment application for Shanxi Linxin Coal Coking Co., Ltd.’s project involving 1.7 million tons per year of coking capacity, along with 200,000 tons per year of methanol production and 60,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia production, was approved by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment. Location: Daxigou, Tangcheng Coal Coking Deep Processing Park, Anze County. Constructor: Shanxi Linxin Coal Coking Co., Ltd. Construction Period: Two years. Scope of Construction: The coking part of this project will utilize 2×65-chamber JNX3-70-2 type 7.0m large top-loading coke ovens, along with a dry quenching process; it will also include one 220t/h dry quenching unit and one 35MW condensing steam turbine generator set, plus one backup unit using a new wet quenching system ； Gas purification employs processes such as condensing ventilation, electrostatic tar capture, HPF desulfurization, spray saturator ammonium sulfate ammonia removal, ammonia evaporation in an ammonia evaporation tower, and final cooling for benzene extraction, along with a facility for producing acid from desulfurization waste liquid. Part of the purified coke oven gas is reused in the coke ovens, while the remaining portion is sent to a comprehensive utilization project for coke oven gas to serve as a raw material for methanol synthesis ammonia plants.
