Completion of mechanical installation at the fire pump station for the eastern water system project of Zhongsha Gulei ethylene plant – May 20, 2025. On May 16, a ceremony marking the completion of the mechanical installation at Station No. 1 of the fire pump station for the eastern water system project of Fujian Zhongsha Gulei’s 1.5 million tons per year ethylene plant was held at the project site. This pumping station is the first unit of Fujian Gulei’s 1.5 million tons per year ethylene project to be mechanically completed, marking an important milestone in the project’s development. Since signing the project general contract in January 2024, China Chemical Donghua Company has addressed challenges such as the large scale of the project, tight deadlines, and high international standards by innovatively adopting various management measures to ensure project quality and schedule adherence. Aiming at the construction of star-rated standard construction sites, China Chemical Donghua Company sets out to achieve this goal by focusing on 10 modules for building star-rated standard construction sites and 32 sub-items, and making every effort to strengthen standardized management at project sites. We will further promote the new concept of \"five minutes before meetings, two hours on-site, six daily practices, three types of proximity, and four aspects of standardization,\" and comprehensively advance \"grid-based management, specialized technology, standardized operations, and regulated behaviors\" on site, thereby continuously improving customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and market competitiveness for China Chemical. Based on principles of safety, quality, and environmental protection, China Chemical Donghua Company strictly implements safety production responsibility systems and grid-based management frameworks. It continues to carry out dual-prevention measures involving risk classification and control as well as the identification and elimination of potential hazards. By introducing the \"eight requirements\" work standard, the company ensures that there is planning, confirmation, documentation, corrective actions, designated responsible persons, time limits, evidence of completion, and summaries of experiences. To date, it has achieved 758,770 safety work hours and zero accidents in terms of safety production. An innovative \"Model Guidance Plan\" was developed; by establishing visual standard zones for construction processes, the verticality deviation of masonry was reduced from 8 mm to 3 mm, and the pass rate for the initial inspection of the completed structures increased to over 99%. An innovative water resource recycling system based on \"three-dimensional recycling + hierarchical utilization\" is adopted, whereby the treated test water is sequentially used for filling storage tanks, testing in circulation pools, and ultimately reused in construction processes such as concrete curing and road dust control, thereby achieving green construction and sustainable development. By adopting full-process lean management, Sinochem Donghua Company uses the PMS system to enable data-driven decision-making. It monitors in real time the allocation of labor, machinery, and materials for projects, keeps track of resource usage, optimizes resources and adjusts plans as needed, and enhances communication and collaboration among team members, thereby ensuring that projects are completed on time, to the required quality standards, and in the right quantity. The project moves the on-site work related to prefabricated components to the factory, reducing on-site wet work and cross-contamination. It adopts a \"pre-inspection\" approach, ensuring that 99% of the components meet quality standards upon arrival at the site. Through forward design, seamless data flow between various design disciplines is ensured, improving data consistency. A sophisticated digital delivery system is developed to identify and resolve potential issues promptly, ensuring the integrity of the delivered outputs. Next, Sinochem Donghua Company will continue to thoroughly implement the group company’s “135” strategy and the “123456” work approach. Adhering to the principles of high standards, high quality, advanced technology, and high efficiency, it will carry out lean management throughout the entire process and carefully organize the subsequent finishing tasks, striving to create a green, intelligent model project that is leading in China and advanced on the international stage. This will contribute to building a higher-quality Sinochem over the next five years.
