With a total investment of 9.83 billion yuan and covering an area of 1,887 mu, this project is a key initiative for Dalaat Banner to promote the clean and efficient use of coal as well as to expand the coal-based industrial chain. The main construction components include an 800,000-ton/year methanol-to-olefins plant, a 400,000-ton/year polyethylene plant, a 400,000-ton/year polypropylene plant, a 15,000-ton/year 1-butene plant, along with supporting utility systems and auxiliary facilities. It is expected that the annual industrial output value will reach 6.67 billion yuan, while the industrial added value will be 2.079 billion yuan. Using methanol as the raw material, the project employs MTO technology to produce polymeric-grade ethylene and polymeric-grade propylene monomers, which are then used in polymerization processes to manufacture high-density polyethylene and high-performance polypropylene products. This approach significantly improves the conversion rate of raw materials, reduces the production cost per unit of product, further expands the industrial chain of the \"methanol-olefins-new materials\" cluster, and enhances market competitiveness.
