Recently, the first super-large pipeline module for the connection tunnel project between the east and west zones of the Jintang New Materials Project, constructed by Sinopec Qiyun Company, was successfully transported, lifted, and slid into place, with accurate installation completed on April 20. The successful sliding and positioning of the first pipeline tunnel module in this project represented multiple domestic firsts in terms of core technologies, filling the technical gap in the field of integrated construction of large-tonnage pipeline tunnels at sea in China. It is reported that the Jintang New Materials project of Rongsheng New Materials (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd. serves as the key element for the Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base to transition from \"basic chemical raw materials\" to \"new chemical materials\". The cross-sea pipeline system, acting as the core \"airborne artery\" of this project, plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of water, electricity, gas, and various chemical raw materials. It is also the first cross-sea pipeline project of its kind in China. The project involves a total of 31 super-large-scale pipe tunnel modules, with the largest individual module weighing 515 tons and measuring up to 43 meters in length. These modules are characterized by their large weight, long spans, complex operating conditions at sea, and extremely high requirements for installation precision. It is reported that in order to address various industry challenges such as the inability to use large cranes and floating cranes to directly lift and place modular components, as well as the tendency of long-span modules to deform, the shipping company has innovatively adopted an integrated construction method that combines transportation, lifting, and sliding, thereby ensuring that ultra-large pipeline tunnel modules can be transported steadily, lifted accurately, and slid precisely. Stable transportation: Taking into account the characteristics of modules that are extremely long, tall, and heavy, the shipping company develops customized transportation plans, implements thorough control throughout the process, and follows standardized procedures. Through door-to-door service, it ensures that the modules are delivered safely and efficiently, laying a solid foundation for subsequent lifting and sliding operations. Precise lifting: Utilizing a 1,600-ton crawler crane of its own, and operating with a 72-meter main boom, the company developed a specialized large-span lifting balance beam capable of handling 600 tons in weight (39 meters long and 12 meters wide). Through multiple rounds of structural analysis and scheme optimization, this solution effectively addressed the problems of deformation and difficulty in achieving balance when lifting heavy modules over large spans, enabling the first successful precise offshore lifting of large-span pipeline gallery modules in China. Sliding Precision: In a situation where there were no precedents, no experience, and no standards in China, the shipping company took the initiative to be innovative and was the first in the country to adopt the \"high-altitude bridge deck lifting and sliding\" technique. It designed, developed, and manufactured specialized equipment with both lifting and sliding functions, enabling dozens of such devices to operate simultaneously to achieve precise placement of hundred-ton modules from long distances. By abandoning traditional methods such as pushing or using winches, this approach significantly reduced construction time and costs, opening up a new path for the construction of offshore pipe corridors in China.
