I’m seeking advice from everyone: is it necessary to conduct a flow calibration using actual flow rates before putting ultrasonic flowmeters used in natural gas trading and transfer into operation for the first time? If so, may I ask in which **standard specification can the basis be found? Thank you!
It should be calibrated using a true flow standard at a metrology calibration facility equipped with such devices.
