Currently, GB 50028-2006 \"Code for Design of Urban Gas Systems\" only specifies the design requirements for venting systems in high-pressure pipelines; there are no such requirements specified for venting systems in sub-high-pressure and medium-pressure pipelines. I am currently working on a venting device designed for high-pressure pipeline systems. Does any experienced professional have the design specifications for venting systems in high-pressure and medium-pressure pipelines, including guidelines regarding the diameter of the venting pipes, their height, and the location where safety valves should be installed?
Which senior could please come and explain this? Thank you very much.
Is it appropriate to use the pressure vessel flare calculations from GB150 for high-pressure and sub-high-pressure applications?
In my opinion, it’s not an issue related to the selection of standards for this project; the national standards for LNG are now well-established, and GB50028 is applicable to urban areas. I have reviewed the \"Regulations for Safety Technical Inspection of Safety Valves.\" Thank you very much for your help, but this standard only covers the specifications for the manufacturing, inspection, and acceptance of safety valves; it does not include any regulations regarding the safe venting of urban gas equipment.
